Shampooing with a bar may take getting used to.
Most people take to a shampoo bar like a duck to water while others report a “transition” process. Our shampoo bars are kind to hair and scalp.
However, natural soap reacts with the minerals in water, especially hard water, and may leave a deposit on your hair that can feel sticky. An apple cider vinegar rinse will fix that like magic. It smoothes the cuticle of hair shafts and leaves your hair shiny and tangle-free.
Vinegar rinse recipe
Mix ¼ to ½ cup of apple cider vinegar in a 16-ounce plastic bottle. Pour the solution through your hair after you’ve rinsed all shampoo out. Leave it for a minute, then rinse lightly.
Longer hair?
If you have long hair, put the long part in a low ponytail. Shampoo your hair and scalp area above the ponytail. Then, take out the hair tie and let the soap rinse through the rest of your hair. Rinse well.
