Wind Dancer Dragonfly Bracelet
The Story:
Did you know that dragonflies are older than dinosaurs?
It's true! These beautiful creatures were some of the very first winged creatures to evolve around 300 million years ago.
That's a long time. And to me, I think it's worth thinking about how that came to be - how, even when nearly every other species from back then has gone extinct, dragonflies remain.
I think the secret is in the name of this stunning design: They learned to wind dance - to 'ride the winds of change to a world of endless possibilities' like I wrote on the card.
That's a really pretty saying, but I wanted to give it some context. Dragonflies are known for incredible flying abilities that are almost like a helicopter, hovering, flying straight up and down, or with great speed.

Story:
Did you know that dragonflies are older than dinosaurs? It's true! These beautiful creatures were some of the very first winged creatures to evolve around 300 million years ago.
How did they survive this long? The secret is in the name of this stunning design: They learned to wind dance - to 'ride the winds of change to a world of endless possibilities' like is written on the card.
That's a really pretty saying, but it needs some context. Dragonflies are known for incredible flying abilities that are almost like a helicopter, hovering, flying straight up and down, or with great speed. This gave them the opportunity to catch more food than nearly any other flying insect ever.
So how does that impact us? Well, it means the ability to ride the constantly changing wind is the key to not only surviving, but thriving.
There are many times where we simply don't like how the wind is blowing, or we don't want to give in. But life is too short for that, my friend. The winds are going to blow in different directions. To really enjoy this life, and live it to the fullest, you have to learn to dance with change instead of fighting it.
We hope this stunning reminder helps you remember that.
